Bicycle is a simple and first mode of transport used by common people. As the name infers it is made of two wheels. The modern day cycles have evolved through many milestones to reach the current position. Baron Karl Von Drais launched a new mode of transport named as ‘Draisine’. But this vehicle was not comfortable because of its height and balance. Following this the vehicle was modified to form current days bicycle.
Bicycles are of different types such as terrain, utility, cruiser or racing bikes based on functionality and design. To maintain a standard in the production of cycles, ISO has formed TC149, a standard which deals with uniform designs.
